So you’ve decide you want to buy a caravan in Spain or you’re thinking of moving your caravan to a different campsite but how do you choose? There’s so much on offer in each of the Costa regions and Spain has some of the best campsites in the whole of the Europe so (although it’s a nice problem to have! ) you may be undecided and confused about which area will be the best for you.

Benidorm has 9 campsites and each one is unique. What they all have in common is that they’re situated in one of the best tourist resorts on the Costa Blanca – Benidorm. Benidorms popularity has not slowed since tourists first started coming to the resort back in the 60’s. Over the years, Benidorm has become more and more popular with the British tourist and the resort is now heavily catered towards them. We’ve even got a ‘British area’ of Benidorm!. This makes it an enticing option for anyone that is looking to make the move to a foreign country that doesn’t want to be isolated in an area where they might not speak the language or not be able to locally source some of their home comforts.

What Does Benidorm Have To Offer?

This doen’t take to much explaining if you’ve already been to our fantastic resort but for those that haven’t, we’re sure we’ve got something in our resort that will suit you. Bendorm has something for everyone!

  • CultureBenidorm is one of the most diverse resorts in the whole of Spain. Benidorm has become famous for it’s British influence but that’s not the full story. The old town of Benidorm is very much traditional Spanish so if you’re looking to sample the culture, this is a great place to start. The great thing with Benidorm is that you have choice. In less than 15 minutes from Benidorm you can be in a traditional Spanish village sampling some local tapas and a caña (small local beer). Altea is our favourite and it’s only a short bus ride from Benidorm. You can be in a different Costa Blanca resort every day – The renfe tram service runs from different locations in Benidorm and this covers the coast from Denia to Alicante.
  • Things to do – If stunning blue star beaches aren’t you’re thing then we’re less than an hour away from the Puig Campana mountain range which forms the backdrop of our resort. This mountain range has fantastic walking and mountain bike routes and for the more adventurous – rockclimbing and parasailing. During the winter months it’s not uncommon to see these mountains topped with snow. A favourite day trip for the Benidorm locals! Benidorm also has some of the best theme parks in Spain. If you fancy something fun and local check out what we have on offer here. Another favourite day trip is the famous Algar waterfalls. This locations ‘claim to fame’ is that the waterfalls were featured in the iconic Timotei adverts. The area is stunning with plenty of places to cool off in the summer months. The local excursion booking centre generally offers this day trip alongside a stop off in the historic village of Guadalest.
  • Nearby places – This is where Benidorm really comes into it’s own. We’re situated in a great location right in the centre of where we believe the best resorts along the Spanish coast are based. We form part of a cluster of holiday resorts that include: Benidorm, Albir, Alfaz del Pi, Altea, Calpe, Javea, Moraira, La Cala, Villajoyosa & El Campello. Valencia is only an hour and half away and is a great place to visit if you’re interested in shopping, culture & eating! In the opposite direction Alicante is only 45 minutes away. This is where our main airport is based and also provides a great day of shopping and superyacht sightseeing at the Alicante Harbour.

Is Benidorm The Right Location For Me?

Only you can decide if that but if you’re looking for a campsite in a holiday resort bursting at the seems with things to do then Benidorm is best option there is. If you want to experience the Spanish culture but also want to be close to some British home comforts then there is no resort that balances the 2 better than Benidorm.

If you’re still unsure, jump on a plane (flights are also cheaper into Alicante) than most other Spanish airports) and come and take a look for yourself. We’re sure that you’ll be more than pleased with what you discover…
